The best Cattery in the North West…is how I would describe Lakeside Country Cattery in Edgworth Bolton. My Cat Tiddles stays at Lakeside cattery a couple of times a year. The whole experience of placing your cat in a cattery can be stressful but at Lakeside you can relax as the service is second to none.
When we arrived at the cattery we were so pleased , the cats had plenty of room inside and a great outside run with a chair and climbing frame, a beautiful garden setting , my cats didn’t want to come home

My cat Boo is very timid has stayed at Lakeside, the cattery is the best I have ever seen with it’s modern facilities, it is warm and friendly, the family are very helpful and kind and I always feel he is extremely well looked after.
We now live in France and Boo has his own passport,we continue to come to Lakeside while we take our holidays.

Beautiful quiet rural setting, with very comfy individual cat pens! Lots of toys to play with and heated bedrooms for when it becomes chilly. Every cat is treated with lots of love and care and all diets catered for even the fussiest of eaters. Mother and daughter are proprietors and are dedicated on giving the cats a holiday of a lifetime. My cat is very nervous and hated going into catteries, she would not eat for 2 weeks but when she comes here she always comes home heavier, I would highly recommend!

This was our first time using a cattery and so we were naturally worried about leaving our two fur babies in the care of strangers.On our first visit to Lakeside all our concerns disappeared. Lakeside is set in a beautiful location with great kitty facilities but more importantly the Lakeside team are obviously very passionate and very caring cat people and nothing is too much trouble for them. Our two pussy’s didn’t stay in a cattery for two weeks.. oh no.. they went on their own little holiday with their Lakeside holiday auntie, mummy and grandma and obviously received amazing kitty care.Thank you Lakeside team, we can’t recommend you enough and we will definitely be bringing Molly and Monty back for more cuddles soon.

We were really apprehensive about leaving Marley in a cattery whilst we went on holiday as he had never been away from home. However, we had no need to worry as Tina and Katie are wonderful, caring and passionate about what they do. I kept in contact whilst i was away and was always reassured that Marley was fine and had settled well. I would highly recommend Lakeside. Not only as the staff are amazing but it is a beautiful peaceful location.

I cannot recommend this cattery enough. My cat Luna has spent 10 days here whilst I was away on holiday and it is so peaceful and clean with beautiful surroundings and run by a lovely family. I will definitely be taking Luna here again, Thank you all so much.

Tina and Katie are brilliant! We have been coming here for years with our cats. One of our cats Sooty was suffering from terminal mouth cancer and needed to be taken to the vets several times during his stay. Tina was in contact with us all the time whilst we were abroad on holiday and took him to the vets and dealt with everything, nothing was too much trouble. They were absolutely wonderful and I can never thank them enough. Their love, care and compassion is first class without a doubt.
The cattery is lovely and clean and in a beautiful quiet country area. All the cats have a lovely view from their rooms and are really well cared and catered for. It is great to know they will be well looked after and cared for by two top class people at a top class cattery!!
